The contest has two divisions: amateur and advanced. Subject matter is wildlife, outdoor scenes and outdoor resource activities in South Carolina. The deadline for submission is 5 p.m. March 1. A signed and completed entry form must be included with photos.
All entries must be mounted on mount board or foam core, which should be thick enough to hold up when hung at the Classic. Images in which content has been altered will not be accepted. No snapshots or panoramic views accepted. Although care will be exercised in handling all entries, the S.C. Department of Natural Resources (DNR), judges and personnel cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to prints.
