Getting information about S.C. public boat ramps now easier than ever

Planning a day on the water is now easier than ever with a new search feature at the S.C. Department of Natural Resources Web site. The Managed Lands section has been enhanced to include a searchable database for public boat in ramps in South Carolina. This list can be found through the Managed Lands section or directly at https://www.dnr.sc.gov/mlands/boatramp.
You can search boat ramps by lake, reservoir and river or by county. There you’ll find detailed printable maps along with longitude/latitude, contact information and even features about the boat ramp like number of fishing piers, parking spaces, boat launches and courtesy docks. The lakes or reservoirs listed are not a complete list of lakes or reservoirs in South Carolina.
While at the S.C. Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Managed Lands site make sure to explore other public properties around the state. You can search properties by name, county location or activity. Get descriptions and maps of fishing lakes, scenic rivers, bird sanctuaries and more.
